Rehoboth Project

“Now the LORD has given us room and we will flourish in the land.” Gen 26:22

Since its inception seven years ago, Chapel of Resurrection has been renting the space we use for our worship services. We have grown considerably since then and our ability to effectively minister to our members and community has been constrained by discretionary time allotment and space limitations. Rehoboth is the name of the building fund project at Chapel of Resurrection.

We have a need for permanency to accommodate our growth and to be an effective part of the community in which we worship.

In February 2011, we undertook an aggressive campaign to build up our savings so we could start having credible conversations with real estate agents and lending institutions. We prayerfully committed to raising $100,000 in one year, and by God’s amazing grace and help we exceeded our goal before February 2012 by raising $120,000! Let somebody shout Hallelujah!!

Having this money dedicated to acquiring a property has allowed us to have serious conversations with potential sellers. However, to realize the acquisition we need to raise $1.5 million. We trust that God who has brought us thus far, and exceeded our expectations in Phase I of this project, will be faithful to see us to the end of this work.
